Schedule and Registration are now available!
The symposium invites submissions from researchers across disciplines working on topics that include (but are not limited to):
sign language communities, including genetics and deafness;
types of signing communities in various parts of the world;
multi-modal language evolution;
and the archival history of signing communities.
The Symposium will be a hybrid event (in-person + Zoom), but all presentations will be in-person [20 minutes for presentations, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A].
Presentation languages are ASL, LSF, IS and English.
All abstracts must be submitted online through the Google form linked below.
In order to upload your abstract, you will need a Google Account.
Your abstracts can be in one of these two formats:
Text Submission [English/PDF] (500 words max)
Video Submission [ASL, LSF or IS] (5 minutes/1GB max)
